Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year. Morgan is poised to take additional steps forward this year. In review, our test scores increased 7.2% to reach their highest levels in the ISAT era. Our attendance rate improved 2.6%. Our student code of conduct violations decreased from 103 to 34 last year. We are not content. We are determined to become the best neighborhood school in the city where 'college' is engrained in our students now. We will achieve via high quality instruction, driven by data, coupled with strong family support.

We are asking our parents to send your child to school every day on time. We are asking you to sign up on parent portal to monitor your child's progress. We are asking that you become an active member in this school community. We are asking you to send your child in uniform everyday. As the principal, I am determined to facilitate this success with the aid of dynamic teachers and great parents. Let us not waiver in providing these children the tools to be great.
